Zoom. Zoom. When it comes to cars, some people have a love for a fine automobile at any price. Other people will go without or drive around with duct tape holding up their bumper. Aside from these two extremes, most people, including us, fall somewhere in the middle.
If you’ve been hanging around the personal finance space for any amount, you’ve likely heard that a car is a liability and not an asset. And, unless you have enough spare change lying around to buy classic cars or hot rods, that statement is dead on.
Today, Mr. MMM and I are diving into our first colossal car-buying mistakes with a fond nostalgia for life long, long ago that we can barely remember at this point. You know, back when we young and definitely not financially-savvy.
We also go right up through modern day and drop a bomb on our listeners as to what I actually drive around town now. Hint: It’s luxurious. GASP!
