If you’re willing to throw on some gloves and wipe down someone else’s home, no matter what’s happened there, you could make a lot of money over the next two to three years.

People will always need their waste taken away; letting it build up is a health hazard and does not keep the street looking good either! If there’s a gap in waste and trash collection in your area, it’s clear there’s a demand for such a service. Why not fill the gap with a business of your own? 

You’ll need equipment like a roll off truck and driver PPE, but with the average person creating 28 pounds of waste each week (and the average household around three people), these startup costs can quickly pay for themselves. Start with your own neighborhood and slowly expand street by street in each direction.

Amongst other things, this software will help you to keep an eye on your expenses as you get established. It’s much easier to balance the books when your incomings and outgoings have always been displayed next to each other!

People tend to want to stay fit and healthy, especially as they get older. Because of this, if you’ve had a long standing interest in working out and following a fitness routine, you could apply this energy to those after the same thing. 

As a new PT, you also have the chance to address a common fear around hiring someone to help you work out: embarrassment over your body and/or level of fitness. If you’re willing to get up close with sewage pipes, septic tanks, sinks, and toilets, you could charge a very fair price for the job, especially if it’s an emergency callout you’ll need to manoeuvre your whole calendar for.
