Make an effort to get enough rest

To get better sleep, you might consider only going to bed when you are ready to sleep, avoid using electronic devices like cell phones or laptops in bed, and refrain from drinking beverages containing caffeine or alcohol at least one hour before going to sleep. If you wake up and find that you are unable to get back asleep, try writing down what is going through your head in a journal or on a piece of paper specifically for writing. If it is at all possible, try to work some form of physical activity into your daily routine.

Before making any important choices, you might want to wait until the “dust” has settled, both literally and figuratively.

 

Recognize that there will probably certainly be transitions in the future
